A number of not so eagle eyed (well, they were there in the middle of the floor) spotted that we were resting our speaker cable on small black bags. We were making no comment about them, but a few curious visitors asked what they were for, and did they do anything? So, having explained that they were not there for decoration, we invited the curious to have a listen, to see if they could hear the difference they made. The reactions were mainly those of astonishment, how? we were asked could supporting speaker cable make such a big difference. PEEK, was our inscrutable reply.
